Is Watching Cartoons Such As SpongeBob and Pokémon Really Beneficial For Your Kids? Find Out Here.
The cartoons are something that has been present for decades. While it has been questioned how healthy this type of content for children is, it is also true that some programs offer a benefit to infants, and this is something that a recent report has made clear. Recently, the research group known as BNG gathered data to find which programs for children can help minors educationally.
While the number of programs that were used is unknown, we know that everyone is aimed at people 14 years or so. The study took into consideration from current programs, to classics of the 90s. The purpose was to see how many unique words, for every thousand words, use each production. The result? SpongeBob won the victory with 213 per thousand unique words. Stuck in the Middle obtained second place with 212. The Dragon Prince and Guevara took third and fourth place. 7th Heaven, The Middle and Anne are still on the list, with Pokémon anime in eighth place with 158 unique words. To conclude the best ten, The Owl House and The New Addams Family are mentioned. It seems that children can learn more than one could imagine to watch SpongeBob and Pokémon every time they spend on television.
