The Splitgate season 0 was launched and with it there were new weekly challenges, a season full of rewards, a new map and a new game mode.

During the live presentation of the opening night of Gamescom, 1047 Games launched an advance that announced that Splitgate's 0 season would begin that same day. The trailer also showed the new map Karman Station of the game, a reinvention of the original outpost map. The new game mode presented in season 0 is contamination. At the beginning of the match, there were two teams of uneven size. The contaminates only have body-to-hand weapons and are overcome at the beginning, but fragmented humans reappear on the contaminated equipment. The game ends after a time limit established or after all humans are contaminated.

The weekly challenges of Splitgate are universal, which means that each player has the same six challenges for that week. These are the challenges of season 0 of week 1:

Players who complete all the challenges before the end of the week will be rewarded with a mysterious reward.
