Originally the sonic ugly was not going to be in chip and dale
For a couple of weeks many fans have enjoyed the new movie of chip and dale: rescue rangers, since it is a return to that mythical segment program Disney Afternoon. And it is clear that the most surprising thing about the tape is all its references, there is included in the debut of Sonic ugly, a character that nobody expected to see on this tape.
In fact, his appearance was something that neither the creators themselves expected at all, being a replacement for another character that came neither more nor less than the universe of Star Wars. Who shared the information was the artist of the graphic script, Simeon Wilkins, a person who originally had contemplated the entry of jar jar binks to this crossover.
This is the message that made one of the sketches of the original scene released:
One more sequence of rescue Rangers: the persecution of Fan Expo. It's great that the bones of this scene were quite firm, while a lot of characters were exchanged. In particular, Jar Jar was replaced by Sonic Feo.
Something that also attracts the attention of the incorporation of Sonic ugly to the film, is to know what kind of treatment it had to be carried out with Paramount to reach the final agreement. Another question is to know what creative mind came the idea, how it was thought to include this discarded material that changed at the end at the request of fans.
In the end, it would be interesting to know how JAR JAR BINKS would have been implemented in the film.
Remember that this tape is available at Disney Plus.
