Turtle Beach released the RECON 200 Gen 2 helmet
Turtle Beach launched the redesigned helmet, the Cook 200 Gen 2. You can now enter them in black, white and a brand new blue night color.
Recon 200 Gen 2 offers 40 mm speakers, a 12-hour autonomy, new shape memory foam cushions and a new headband. The Gen 2 Recon will work with Xbox One, the Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and Mobiles with 3.5mm jack.
Recon 200 Gen 2 also has a variable monitoring of the microphone, so you can hear your sound in the helmet. The helmet also offers a fast charge where 15 minutes of charge will give you an hour and a half of wireless game, and you can still use the 3.5 mm jack if you forget to load it.
The helmet also has my favorite Flip-to-Mute mouse style. I find it far better to find and press a button to cut the sound. This is not a problem if the helmets use a button, but I prefer this style.
Turtle Beach is not really my style, but it seems to be a solid helmet. It has a set of traditional features that costs $ 59.95. This has about everything I wait at this price.
Recon 200 Gen 2 is probably not the best helmet on the market. I did not use it or the original, so I do not know how they ring, but at $ 59.95, you really can not go wrong. I usually recommend saving extra money and opt for a helmet in the $ 99 range.
In the $ 99 range, you can usually get a headset with better speakers and more features. It s a little more money, but I think the value for money is just the price of $ 99. Once you become more expensive, it tends to decline and cheaper tend to use cheap speakers or lack essential features.
