Phil Spencer believes that gaming will take a similar way like other industries - Xbox Head - Video Peeling news, instructions, exemplary procedures, reviews and culture

The Head of Xbox sees a future with more options and more boxes.

Times change. Like everything else, the video game industry is also in a state of fault and change. Streaming gets slow, but certainly to a part of the game, and subscription services dive anywhere. It's hard to imagine where playing will be in the next few years, as it will look like and how we will consume it. But Xbox Head Phil Spencer has some ideas.

In the latest episode of the Game Maker's Notebook Podcast, Spencer shared his thoughts about where the industry moves. He introduces that the music industry will be very similar, where new ways will be a broader access, if you think of something like Spotify, which can be accessed on many devices - but for games. Interestingly, he also believes that there are generally much more devices for games that talk about pure streaming boxes, high-end hardware and everything in between (a big thank you to twinifinite for transcription of the interview).

"I think we will have more differences among our TVs than before," said Spencer. "I think it will probably give a variety of only streaming consoles that have no hard disk drive, no storage device and everything, and then I get the signal to the TV ... maybe some of them are installed ...

"I think you will also see more high-end stuff. I just look around and try to vote patterns on things. When I think of video and music ... the streaming services that there are, these media types have released around me for all devices. I have now far more devices than ever before to watch TV.

"With the advent of Disney and Netflix and all others who come in, the number of devices has not decreased. It has actually increased. The same applies to music. Now I have Spotify in the ear, Spotify in the pocket, I have it at home ... I have the opportunity to connect to my music services with different playing rays through so many different devices ... large screens, small screens, stereo tone ... sometimes I hear I hear Music only with a earphone.

"I think the games will be similar. We will find that games can be performed in several contexts and on different devices. You will see many different devices that support different scenarios. "

That's a pretty big idea, but I can imagine that Spencer is not too far away here. Playing device like everything else in a broken state of the media, as it feels. Times change.
